Step Aside. Sleepover.

Maggie is staying at my parents' house this weekend, she left yesterday. She goes over there just about every other weekend and spend the night. But this weekend Adrian and I have agreed to let her stay there from Friday to Sunday. I would like my parents and Brittany (my younger sister) to be able to remain a big part of their life. While Maggie and I were still living there, my family would take care of her as if she was their own child. Although at the beginning I was a bit hesitate about her going over there and spending nights there. But soon enough I changed my mind.

When I was a little girl I was very close to my grandparents on my dad's side. My mom would drop me off at their house every morning so she could go to work. And in me being there everyday, I grew a close bond with each one. When I got older, they passed away. I was very heart-broken, to me they were my 'other' parents. Just as much as I enjoyed that bond, I want my daughter to have the same bond between my parents. Below is a picture of me and my grandfather, Juan Sr.
